Inspired by the emotions, equipment and adornment associated with school Sports Day, the 'well-done-for-trying' badge has been re-imagined on a grander scale to celebrate the unsuccessful students and the everyday wearer.

Traditional medals worn by the military on the chest, or on a ribbon around the neck for sporting events, inspired pieces that are recognisable as both medals and statement jewellery items in their broadest interpretations. Inspired by woven skipping ropes, graphic - almost tribal - patterns have been applied with hand embroidery and individually set Swarovski crystal arrangements for whimsical sparkle and child-like charm. Hand-turned skipping rope handles and framed hessian sacks, alongside traditional plimsole patterns imprinted into medal forms for precious preservation, have been integrated with nostalgic effect to evoke emotions associated with the materials of Sports Day.
